A hotel with rooms built in the branches of a tree has opened its doors for business in Germany. Guests spend the night in wooden rooms suspended in branches 30-feet above the ground.
The Zentendorf Tree House in Saxony, offers five rooms connected by narrow walkways and built into the branches of a black locust tree. The rooms, which were fully booked for the opening night, cost £100 to £150 a night. They come with small balconies, electric lights and shared toilets.
Designer Juergen Bergmann said: "It's every kid's dream to live in a tree house, and many adults never lose that desire."

I once stayed at Sikumi Tree Lodge in Hwange. It was fantastic, I was very careful with the sundowners though. Didn't want to tumble down the ladder. _________________ African Safari Holidays

Not sure what your saying here, Shandy. Do you mean that its difficult holding on with sundowners in your hands? _________________ Google Profile |

thats sounds great ,
i often used to sleep on courtyard tree , after growing up it looks silly , but a hotel hanging on tree would be quite wonderful. _________________ travel medical insurance | sql server hosting |

| This summer I with my wife and two kids are going to Dusseldorf. Found this old topic about tree house. My kids like tree houses so I found this would be interesting attraction for them. Do they provide this service in these days? |

I'm a big fan of themed hotel rooms when I'm on vacation. We have two young children and they really enjoy unique hotel rooms. Is there a waiting list to stay at this hotel? How much does it cost to stay here per night while visiting Germany?

| hi, and 've got the experience of living in "Kulturinsel Einsiedel" in Zentendorf, north of Görlitz.. If you’ve ever dreamt of living in the trees like Tarzan or the Swiss Family Robinson, you simply must visit the leisure park.. |

aardvark5 - or should I say koolahclicks@gmail.com (for the benefit of the spambots so you can get a taste of your own medicine) - you are making a very good case for people not using that particular website.
Not only have you spammed (and I think been banned from) this place before, but you seem keen to persist. You've now been banned.
Co-incidentally, my own holiday rental is listed on this particular website. I've asked for it to be taken down and I've asked the company in question to stop emailing me. Neither has yet happened. Go figure.
PS - You might like to check your whereabouts some time. You're posting from India, not the UK as you'd seem to like us to believe. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions

Hey, for the record I'm British, I'm currently in India, but my permanent address is in England - near Leicester if you want me to be more specific! If I go to Australia for a year to work but don't update my location does that mean I'd get banned because I'm not posting my true location? I don't know what you think I was spamming because I wasn't linking to anything, I dropped a couple of business names but why would I be trying to spam both of them since they are competitors?
I don't mind you posting that email address, it's specifically a spam address anyway which I use for signing up to sites and never gets checked, at the last count I think there were over 40,000 unread emails in it so spam away my little spam bots!
Honestly! Send me some yummy kendal mint cake and I'll stop being upset at you! |

No, it doesn't. We take other factors into account, such as whether people are attempting to post links. It's a travel forum - we understand that there can be reasons for people posting from different locations. However, when we see activity that looks suspicious (such as your own), we look a little deeper and if other things also don't seem to tally, then it paints a picture. At the end of the day, we take everything into consideration and make a judgement call.

In the post above, you only appear to be promoting one company. In an earlier post, you attempted to promote the same company, plus another website which appears to be linked to that company. That, coupled with you claiming to be in the UK and yet posting from India (one of the places where we get most of our spam from) and ignoring other site guidelines (eg. 'please post here' in the Introductions Forum), means you get the chop.
aardvark6 now also banned. Please don't sign up again. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions

| Have any of you guys ever done a treehouse tour? I have been to a few in the states, but during my trips to South America and Europe it has kind of passed me mind that this kind of lodging is available at all. I used to do Rocky Mountain tours all of the time and would stay in Salt Lake City hotels before we took our backpacking trips in to the woods to find what some would call a 'secret' tree house. I know I am kind of rambling here, but Salt Lake City really surprised me with how clean it was, etc. I love Utah for sure. |
