For good health, mediteranean diet is lovely.
For me though, it has to be asian food, although that might be because it is a 'novelty', rather than eating it 3 times a day. |

For me, the variety of food around the world is a major reason to travel! So I would have to say that I find something wonderful to eat almost everywhere I go (I make sure of it!)
I love the food of South East Asia: fantastic variety, fresh flavours, a good mixture of spices and herbs, based around fresh ingredients. And mostly pretty healthy also. Vietnamese food (as eaten in Vietnam) is among my favourite cuisines of the world.
But also, the two dominant culinary countries of Asia, India and China, are also fantastic, especially if experienced in the countries themselves. I have found that both cuisines bare little resemblance to the "Indian" and "Chinese" foods that we get in most restaurants in the UK, and I especially liked Sichuan food in China, but also the amzing variety in India (especially of vegetarian food in southern India).
The there's Japanese food: almost unique in character and taste, and incredibly diverse (especially as we only really see sushi in Japanese restaurants in the UK).
And I haven't even started on European food. As drakem126 says, Mediterranean food is lovely; but again, the variety is incredible: consider that Mediterranean food covers Spain, France, Italy, the Adriatic countries, Greece and Turkey! Not to mention the numerous north African countries!! But also in Europe there's some pretty good food to be found in the north, from wonderful game and fish dishes here in the UK to superb Smorgasbord-style buffet in Scandinavia...!
Hehehe! Need I go on...?!? _________________ Track your Euros here

Vietnamese food is great, tastes very fresh and healthy with lots of greens. Love Indian food too, but it can sometimes get a little much... very filling! If I want to OD on meat and cheese and jalapenos you can't beat Mexican... _________________ Kieran

Greek diet
Makes you gain weight as fast as the light travels It is soooo good!
My favorite dish is pasticcio with Greek salad choriatiki and fried saganaki made from kefalograveera cheese. |

Japanese food is mostly very healthy, a lot of raw fish and rice..
However if you like a mixture of this with a bit of spice I would recommend Thai cuisine, it has a mixture of sweet, sour, spicy and bitter which makes it amazing! (and their curry's are incredible) Although some Thai restaurants in the UK do a good job, nothing is better than sitting on a beach with a bowl of Pad Thai |

This is a hard one. I love Indian food for sure... nothing is better than some good curry and naan... mmmm yum!
I also have recently started eating at an Ethiopian restaurant... and being a fan of eating with bread instead of utensils... this is a winner.
I also want to mention New Mexican fare. The tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and salsas they make with Hatch green chilies are scrumptious... and it's almost that season!
I do like TexMex too... a nice sour cream sauce. Okay, now I am hungry.
Okay, I just like food, cause I was about to step into Asian cuisine.... fried noodles. yum. _________________ Bike Friendly BC Hotels |

I´m probably rather biased but Spanish is fun. Although I´m happy to try anything and anywhere - if only!

| There are too many fabulous foods from around the world to pin-point one cuisine! For me personally, trying local foods and dishes of the region/country you are in has to be one of the best bits of travelling/holidays! |
