|
|
I am looking for a good road atlas for a road trip around western USA (Washington, British Columbia, Alberta, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, UTAH, Arizona, Nevada and California).
I have used the BC Road Atlas for British Columbia and Alberta, which I found very good. Ideally I would like to purchase something similar for Western USA.
I have looked at various offerings on the web and the 'Ultimate USA Road Atlas and GPS Companion' (Hema) looks good. Also the American Map Road Atlas also looks good.
Can anyone recommend a good atlas that is useful for both the travel and the planing stage. Any comments on the above two would also be appreciated.
Regards

If you can get your hands on a Rand McNally atlas, that may meet your needs. It is sufficiently detailed, but not overly so. You can check it out on www.randmcnally.com _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |

Thanks Red Tape.
I am considering Rand McNally also, although I think i prefer the Hema, but it is very difficult to assess on the web so any recommenadtions are very important.
