I want to see the passenger who didn't comply with instructions charged with something as well. _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |

You know, I awed at this story because it seems outstanding even for the US. Because here we cannot even think about such things, as nearly all hired workers are afraid to lose their jobs, and since the unemployment rate is really high, there are no indispensable employees.
Another thing that confused me was that he was charged with all those formulations. It seems to me like it was a kind of a show-off of the authorities to prevent that sort of behaviour in the future. But the US law is unfamiliar to me, and it may as well be justified.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to travel by air, but as many of the news and posts claim the passengers have become more tensed and irritated, and, what is worse, some of them consider the service staff to be 'untermenschen'. This accident is a good way to put things back in place, and I hope the man will be treated fairly. _________________ Florida vacation rentals

| Steven Slater was just a normal working man, now he is an internet sensation, with T-shirts being sold in New York picturing him sliding down the inflatable shoot holding 2 beer cans. He may have quit his job but he has unwittngly started a new celebrity career and probably won't have to work again. |
