The Referendum in Zanzibar is on the 31st so Stone town is probably not a good place to be then, much better idea to be on the beach at Kendwa or Kazimkazi...

It's a yes or no vote about whether or not to have a power sharing government (between CCM and CUF) and by so doing end the sporadic political violence that sometimes mars elections there. There is quite a big push for 'yes' but lets see what happens. The referendum is seen to be a positive step for Zanzibar.
