For me the best honeymoon place to be is one that offers romance aplenty yet doesn't cost the earth necessarily. Does anyone have a resource of the last year's list (2008)? I doubt that Hawaii is still the first on the list, it's gotten cheesier by the years.

I agree. A list like this is meaningless because everyone has different ideas of what a great honeymoon should be. My husband and I were all about a beach and lots of relaxing, but we have good friends who needed adventure.

Its all depends on the things you are looking for in honeymoon. if you are wanted go some place surrounded by coconut trees, white sands and blue ocean then florida keys is best place for you.

I agree that this list is very vague and without any clear basis. I am surprised that Thailand is so low on the list... and how can you put Africa? It is a continent- a little detail would be helpful Smile

Anyways- for those that are looking for a romantic and luxury honeymoon- I would highly suggest Phuket because of the scenery and affordable luxury w/a dash of exotic flair. I have been seeing it come up more and more as the hot destination... I am helping a friend figure her honeymoon out and there are many romantic options.

A nice idea for couples is to charter a helicopter tour around the island or to exclusive 5* resorts. The helicopter tours are really unforgettable, which is more than suitable for such an occasion! Check out my link below!

Great list! The countries that where mentioned are all popular for honeymoon. Why not try Cebu Island (Philippines). I think its also a great honeymoon spot
