Hi all,
Without a doubt i would say the best place for wine is Argentina, in particular the city of Mendoza on the Andean Mountains.
I work for a travel agency that specializes in Argentina travel, so i am more that likely biased, however, i have traveled widely trying wines all over Europe and the New World wines of Australia and New Zealand.
You can go on tours of the vineyard and taste wine for all occasions. What trumps Argentina though, more than any destination is that food that comes with wine.
Every Argentine is a wine expert, followed closely by expert chefs of Steak. Argentines eat more meat than any other nation, all is high quality and they take great pride in their produce!
Try a freshly cooked steak with a beautiful glass of Malbec. Then ask what is the best country for wine - it will be undoubtedly Argentina!
Best. Jon Hudson.

I would say France or the State of Califronia. Italy can be good and bad. Spain's Rioja is nice as is the Syrah from Australia. I have tried some wines from Argentina but they all sucked. _________________ Halong bay cruise|Emotion Cruise halong|Tours from Hanoi |

France.
Some of France’s most prominent wine regions include the Loire Valley, with its rich and fertile soil and its moderate climate—the area where 75% of France’s wines are produced.
Also famous for its Champagne, the bubbly white wine associated with celebrations worldwide. _________________ Diving Boracay

Ha! I'd say Moldova has one hell of a wine, especially home-made. And Hungarian wines are also very much enjoyable. But something tells me when I taste French wine I will fell sorry for this post. _________________ Vacation homes |

I like the red wines of Australia, California, Chile and France. I mostly drink Chilenean wines. I believe South Africa has good Wines too. _________________ Bed and Breakfast Florence |
