I could always go for Peppery Chicken stewed in Lemon Grass and Papaya. That dish warms me up, and clears clogged noses in an instant! Not to mention, it definitely tastes good and has a certain homey charm to it. _________________ Travelling with Campervan Hire Cairns |

I'd say some nice roast goat meat with "mukimo" (this is peas, potatoes and maize all mashed together and also some "Kachumbari" (a salad- tomatoes, onions and parsley mixed together. Its a delicacy for the Kikuyu community in Kenya. Yummy!! _________________ Budget Travel Offers in Kenya

I have to say that my favourite type of food in Spanish. The Spanish have got it exactly right with their tapas. Nothing beats sitting down with manchego cheese, pimientos de padron, pata negra, garlic prawns .... the list is endless. However, it all need to be accompanied by a good bottle of red wine. _________________ Mallorca Holidays

Well, there is a variety, and everytime I taste something new, it becomes my favourite for some time
And since I started cooking not so long ago, I seem to like everything I prepare by myself. Tell you even more, other people like it too!
To name a thing, one of my favourites is roasted and mashed eggplant with onion and tomatoes. I don't think you can name it in English. _________________ Vacation homes |

|
|
hello
Commonly, there are two kinds of “Banh it”. The first one is “Banh it la gai”, which is sticky rice cake with coconut or green bean stuffing wrapped in pinnate leaf. The second one is “Banh it tom thit” - glutinous rice cake with meat and shrimp, its name means “little meat shrimp cakes”, the stuffing is made of ground pork and shrimp mixed with spring onion and other spices.
A popular saying goes: "If you wish to eat banh it la gai, get married to a Binh Dinh man to increase your life experience". It shows how essential “Banh it la gai” is to the people in the central region. Originating in Binh Dinh Province on the central coast, “Banh it la gai” has become a veritable specialty of that region of Vietnam.
