Expenses paid Travel companion

Hi there

Recently, I had a marvellous experience being a travel companion to an elderly person and getting all travel expenses paid. Has anyone shared this similar experience? I am also wondering where I could advertise and how I could go about advertising my service as a travel companion.

I basically had to research into a tour that suits my elderly companion, did the organising and running around. No nursing care involved, although it wouldn't worry me as I do have extensive nursing experience. Used to be a registered nurse but had let it lapsed as I switched to an admin career to suit my family life.

My elderly companion has also agreed to provide me with a reference should one be required. Please share all constructive comments.
