The luxury trains in India are one of the major attractions of Indian tourism industry. The heritage luxury trains are worth travelling, eventhough they are a bit expensive when compared with Indian currency. Some of the major luxury trains are Royal orient, Palace on wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Heritage on wheels and Fairy Queen. The facilities in these trains are royal in nature and these train routes covers the major travel destinations, especially in northern India.

True, I've also had very good feedbacks from people who travelled throughout India on the Palace On Wheels train.

In a world where money is not an issue there is no other options then travel in luxury. Whether you are independent traveler or group of family and friends, no doubt, go for luxury if you can. You will find it even in the most secluded and exotic places of the world, like India. I think to see India by train is the one of the most luxurious and unforgettable experiences. The itineraries are very interesting. The best trains are Golden Chariot and Palace on Wheels definitely. Laughing

Wow! The trains are certainly much more luxurious than first class travel in Britain!
