Err.. I like both really. If it's sunny here, staying home is nice because it's really nice on the beaches and countryside here in summer. However, seeing new places is also great _________________ [Cheap car hire prices for all your destinations]{Blog} |

I like to travel but due to my little kid (who is only two), i now prefer to stay at home.
Its only because of this naughtiness that i have changed my recent plans to visit singapore.
So, i prefer to stay at home _________________ Ski in Valle Nevado,Portillo or Farellones… I'm your guy

| Sometimes staying at home does feel easier when you consider jet lag, packing and being away from the kids' familiar things but I love travel too much and so actually like to have both viable and fun in my life. |

It does seem that family vacations tend to be more linked with stress than relaxation, no matter what age the kids are. However, as some of you have said, planning in advance may make a trip more fun especially if you let the kids have a say.
It might be worthwhile to know that city breaks can be surprising successful as so many of the activities are contained with in a small area. Also large towns often cater to both parent and child. And, there are always good transport links to take you to the countryside for the day if you crave some green, fresh air.
Speaking from experience, major cities such as London offer a vast amount of child-friendly locations both in terms of amenities and entertainment. For example the world renowned Science Museum is fascinating on all maturity levels with interactive displays and play areas. The same can be said of famous London attractions such as the Tate Art galleries and Imperial War Museum.
While it is true that keeping the kids happy and whining to a minimum is vital, it is important that the parents have a vacation they enjoy too. And, it is definetely possible. _________________ Sonia, Park Plaza Riverbank, http://www.parkplaza.com/hotels/gbriver/ |

With the way that the economy is playing out lately, sometimes it is not a choice to actually just stay at home. Even if families would love to go out for a cool adventure or experience together, they have no choice cause on how the economy has played out. _________________ Australian Visa Assistance - PrincipalVisas.Com |

It is ridiculously expensive to go on holiday I believe. The only way we managed to go was because of the huge discount we received. But i believe staying at home can be just as fun, as there's always something or somewhere new to go and try..plus I have to admit i enjoy my creature comforts _________________ Gran Canaria Holidays

It can be hard planning a holiday when it comes to accommodating everyone's tastes, co-ordinating school and work times and family finances but I still think its important to get away, even if it's only for a weekend break. Get the kids involved in choosing holiday destinations and activities and even if you can't afford to go abroad there's so much to do in your own country. In the UK, for example, there's so much to see and do so it's well worth considering!
Will everyone be going away this year or will you be a having a 'staycation'?

Well it all depends on the budget. If I have the money, then I travel. But I sometimes do go crazy and travel without a lot of cash in my pocket. Actually makes the whole trip even more exciting. _________________ Australian Visa Assistance - PrincipalVisas.Com |

Well I'm taking a weekend break to Rotterdam at the end of the month but after that I think I'll explore the UK a bit more. The weather is glorious at the moment and if it stays like this I might check out Scotland and Ireland this summer.

Apartments and vacation homes are definitely way better than hotel rooms.
First, there is space to run around in a home - definitely more than a hotel room. And if you are in a villa or cottage with own garden then there are no limitations.
Second, everyone can have their own room.
Third, costs are low with a kitchen and a laundry - especially useful for families with young kids.
Most vacation homes also provide high chairs and baby cots at an additional cost.
And finally, but not the least, you get to take the all important member - your pet along. Just opt for a pet-friendly vacation rental! _________________ London Vacation Rentals | London Holiday Flats |

Theres nothing like the comfort of your own home, however once or maybe twice a year it very heathly to get away from everything with youre loved ones, or preferbly by yourself. New surroundings, different things to do, time to relax and have a good time. _________________ Gran Canaria Holidays
