Is there anyone that has taken a honeymoon in a French villa? If so, what was it like? I have some friends looking at this as an option. _________________ French holiday villas

I had my wedding reception at the Château de Goudourville located in the Mid-Pyrenees earlier this summer. It was a superb and very lavish experience, though if you split the cost between friends (unlike me) it works out very reasonably priced. There is an open air pool and a tennis court too.

Very true but where would you recommend? There are many hotels in France... some bad ones as well and honeymoons are meant to be special!
You could also end up breaking the bank to pay for a good one if not careful. _________________ French holiday villas

I personally feel villas are good to spend holidays and best for honeymoon though, hotels are even good and provide honeymoon suites too. I have been through some beautiful private villas in Goa, specially for honeymooners and it is beautiful. _________________ Hotels in Pacifica |

I have never been to Goa, I assume the level of accoommodation is high?
In Europe, villas generally are of high standard, often with private facilities, pools etc. _________________ French holiday villas

No, the level of accommodation is very low and you can get your private villas at very low cost, I mean you can afford the price and the hospitality there was awesome. You have to pay in dollars there.
