| I recently went to Ankara, which was a refreshing experience after living in Istanbul for 4 years. I'm an American expat living in Istanbul, so I'm not a tourist here anymore, maybe that's why I liked it. |

I would take a ferry ride to see Prince's Islands, especially the one named Buyukada, a very interesting place where autombiles aren't allowed. Everything on the island is managed in terms of provisions only by old-style wood horse charriots or at least was last time I've ben on Buyukada. Especially if you are in a trip like you honeymoon, this is a destination you must visit with your companion. It is very romantic. And when you are back from Buyukada to Instanbul, I would recommend you to take you wife/husband to the Asian side of Istanbul to a place called Galata Tower, great restaurant with magnificent food and a bread, so tasty, yummy. I don't know how they do it, but it is completely whole inside and yet it manges to keep its form from the outside a great long time. _________________ Chik Vacaciones, tu agencia de viajes online y offline.

I recommend a few days in Istanbul followed by up to a week in Cappadocia. Goreme is a good base but for your honeymoon you might prefer some of the surrounding towns and villages where there are some great boutique and luxury hotels.
Be sure to hire a moped in Cappadocia, it's an exhilarating way to explore the area. _________________ Roam The World - Probably the most comprehensive resource on the web for independent travelling costs. Well, I suggest you to visit Istanbul because it is the one of the biggest city in Turkey and fifth largest city on the globe. It is located on the Bosporus Strait. There are some of the best beaches, restaurants, parks, hotels and resorts as well as lots of historical places are located. Moreover, if you visit there for your honeymoon so must see these places which I mention below:
Topkapı Palace
Traditional waterfront houses
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Istanbul Archaeology Museum
The Grand Bazaar
True Blue Beach
Dalia Beach
Nonstop Beach _________________ All happiness depends on a leisurely Romantic bed and Breakfasts |
