I love the country too. Hurghada, Alexandrie, Luxor, Cairo, Sphinx, Pyramids of Giza and of course diving! There are a lot of beautiful places in the world but Egypt is definetly in my top 5!

I've been to egypt twice now, and adored it both times. There is something that really attracts me about egypt and other countries in the middle east. The first time I was on a tour of the nile, stopping at all the major sites. But the second time I went to dahab and it was such a nice relaxing vacation. The most beautiful beach I have ever seen! I think egyptian people are very interesting, and certainly very good-looking as well. My impression of cairo was that it was chaotic, busy and exciting. I will definitely be making a trip back to egypt

Egypt is a contrasts place and a great destination for travelers who love history and culture variety. But at the same time Egypt can be very tricky to outsiders who don't take precautions. Either you decide to stay on course - the traditional tours- Cairo, Giza, Sphinx, Aswann, Luxor, cruise on the Nile River or Red Sea relax or you go on an adventure, you must avoid the followings:

Main issue: WATER USE IN EGYPT
Do not drink tap water or anything else that's not bottled.
Wash your teeth also with mineral water to stay away from potential infections, stomach problems afterwards.
Also be careful when you order something on ice.
Wash your fruits and vegetables with mineral water and do not buy it on street kiosks especially if you know that you are stomach sensitive.

I really would like to see the pyramids in Egypt. I am planning a trip this coming Spring... just haven't decided between a few places. Egypt is on my list of places I want to see. I just wonder if Spring is the best time of the year to visit there.

I like to join this discussion Egypt is the place with lots of historical spots as well as beautiful beaches.We went to Egypt in our last vacations ans really enjoyed a lot.There are many dive sites along the 10 mile beach between Sharm el Sheikh and Ras Nusrani.
