No, there isn't, Ian.
Well, at least there wasn't... but there is now!
Feel free to tell us where your favorite locations are... please post them here! As for mine, well, other than home... it'd have to be Greenland. Incredible scenery, fabulous wildlife, wonderful people... and, well... amazingly tranquillity. I would recommend it to anyone!

Of course Home (Australia) has some great travel highlights, my most memorable place to date has been Laos. Some unique experiences and the most hospitable locals _________________ DMFREEDOM - Travel writing and Photography

Hi guys,
I reckon Costa Rica has got to be up there with the best places I have ever visited! Great nature, people, still reasonably unspoiled by tourism, nice travelling distances and nice and cheap....
Cheers,

Ko Pha Ngan is great.... if you like that kind of thing, you should try out Montezuma on the Peninsula of Costa Rica. Guarantee you will love it. No full moon parties though _________________ | http://www.travellerspoint.com

| The Great Barrier Reef off Queensland would have to be the most magical place on the planet. It is one gigantic marine park. The national parks in Queensland are simply amazing too. Whilst not as cheap as Costa Rica the experience is well worth it. |

Rockies in Canada (Banff area). Awesomely big mountains. Canadians are friendly too.
Machu Picchu for the location. The ruins aren't architecturally as spectacular as Mayan structures further North (or the curved wall in Cusco for that matter), but to have built (and hidden) such a large civilisation high above the valley is impressive.
The Pampas of Bolivia. Wildlife galore! If you ever visit South America in dry season this is unmissable. Many of us have heard of the Pantanal in Brazil. The Pampas is a smaller version, but equally beautiful and uninhabited.
New Zealand. People, scenery, climate, people, wildlife and people. Brilliant!
Pulau Kapas on Malaysia's East coast. Pure chilled out serenity. (Pulau=island btw)
Again, many of us have heard of the Perhentian islands. Less visited and, thus, more special is Kapas.
5 is as few as I can list. People, Wildlife, scenery and atmosphere make places my favourites.
Visit as many as you can afford to, but tread lightly wherever you go

Finally... I think I have posted my message to the right place ...Sorry About the the misunderstanding.I did not want to shout
I think Turkey is the best destionation for the tourist... It is cheap and high quality.
Many things to see and many things to explore and many things to do.The culture is very attractive .
Ephesus-Cappadocia-Istanbul ( Sultanahmet and Topkapi ) the culture treasury
and also the beaches.Antalya-Oludeniz-kemer-kas-kalkan-Marmaris-Bodrum-Kusadasi
and also the nature Karadeniz...
and also the adventure Mountains-rafting in the rivers of Antalya and trekking..
I THINK MY BEST DESTINATION IS TURKEY BECAUSE I ONLY WRITE A FEW OF THE ACTIVITES.. MANY THINGS TO SEE AND MANY THINGS TO DO THERE ...
and I LOVE FRANCE TOO.ITHINK I LOVE ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES BUT FIRST ONE IS TURKEY FOR ME _________________ www.tourarium.com

Don't worry... you'll get there. But please note this last bit - where you've written in caps - is generally frowned upon in internet circles, and is an example of "shouting". Try to use both upper and lower case as appropriate if you can. It makes it easier for others to read.
Thanks
