If you're prepared to do a long haul flight, then I would highly recommend Corsica. We spent our honeymoon in Corsica and it was diving! Basically it's wild Europe. Landscapes are something else, beaches are awesome, walking and cycling if you want it, food fantastic, history and culture fascinating. In April you'll get beautiful weather (not too hot or too cold, just as your wife to be wants!). _________________ Villa in France |

In Slovenia, you can choose Bled, or Bohinj.
On Bled, we have lake and in the middle of it, is a island with churche, very nice |

Perhaps you want to consider Las Vegas in North America, it is a well known place for people who want to go for honeymoon. Further it may not be that expensive as what other people think though!
