I stayed on the border of the old town and the new. It was about 10-12 minutes to the old town square which I would call the hub of the old town. I stayed in Caesar's Palace (not the one in Vegas) and it ws 4*, very comfortable and a good buffet breakfast. We booked through lastminute.com.
A long weekend was long enough for me to do everything we wanted to do. I recommend the Jazz boat trip down the river. Food was very good but portions small, but was a great experience even if you are not a hardcore Jazz fan.
The old town square has a market where yo ucan get good snacks but the restaurants there are pricey. Cheaper food is found off the square. _________________ Backpacking : : Budget Travel Hidden Costs : : Round the world tickets: : Round the world trip budget calculator |
