Krakow is a beautiful city, you will more than likely spend most of your time in the
huge main square, which has a range of high end retail and alfresco restaurants
and bars. At 4.5 zlotys to the pound you should get reasonable value but expect to
pay 10 zlotys and more for a modest sized beer in the main square and the same for
a coffee, also beware of pickpockets as i saw a few incidents the last time i was
there.

Krakow is amazing!
I live here since last year and still i'm in love with this city.
I love everything: people, clubs, museums, galleries and cultural eventas that happend here.
I guess cheap hostel Aston may interest you. Night cost ~15 euros. That's nothing taking by consider fact that it's located 3-4minutes from main sqare.
Favourite palces?
Pauza and Kazimierz distinc. You have to see it Smile

I too can say 300 Euro will be enough but some times can get immediate expenses so also care your credit.
