Hi and welcome,

What city in Utah will you be going to?
Weather will not be cold, around the mid- teens in celcius.
Utah has nice State Park. I would recomend Zion National Park.

Have fun.

Utah has very many NPs. You should never miss a chance to visit Bryce Canyon NP.

But plan to give up alcohol for the week :-(

Alcohol is available in Utah. You just have to know how the laws work there.

Oh sure, it's available. Just not easily available!

In fact we found the best place to get a beer in southern Utah was northern Arizona! :-)

people need to stop being afraid of utah. It isn't what you'd think. You can still buy beer at the store, and there is a bar in every town just like the rest of the world.
It is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the people are quite friendly.
