Hello. I'm travelling to the west side of America in December, round California area. Love to try new things eg white water rafting, sky diving, scuba diving etc. I also like site seeing whetherbit's architecture or scenery I'm happy. would like to go to Las vegas, grand canyon alkatraz etc. all the usual tourist stuff.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas of where to visit that was slightly more interesting, exciting or different?

This site has a great collection of photos to whet your appetite. I use it as a planning tool for finding scenic "out-of-the-way" locations.

I recommend Southern Utah if you are traveling around the west.
You can hit Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Moab etc all in a few days.
It is the best from March-October, and amazing for any backpackers/campers/National Park hoppers/etc

For any info, pics or advice, email me at elderburgess@gmail.com

If you would like to book a hotel room in Southern Utah (St Geoge, Cedar City, Kanab), then email angiewittwer@gmail.com to get the lowest rates for several hotel franchises. (including: Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Marriott, Motel 6)
She is a friend of mine and just tell her SOUTHERN UTAH MAN sent you Smile

Enjoy Southern Utah!
