Hi all,

I am planning a trip with my boyfriend for a year on South America. We will drive from Oregon to Chile and were thinking of ways to deter harassment for having USA plates. Has anyone preregistered their car there?

We are in the beginning stages of planning so any other advice would be great.

How old is your vehicle? What type of vehicle is it: car, truck, SUV??
