What do you want to do? How old are your kids? Do you want to travel off the beaten path and enjoy nature or stay at a resort? If you want a relatively inexpensive cookie cutter vacation that's safe, stick with resorts like the ones in the Dominican Republic. _________________ miami hotel deals |

Depends what you like to do but I would look for ones with children's clubs or activities.
The quality varies a lot, I found Club Med Family resorts were the best for different ages, our kids would spend time in the club for some activities, and with us at other times. It allows everyone to have fun. Beaches resorts are also good. Prices vary depends on where you want to go (DR is cheaper, Barbados expensive). What do you like to do, some islands are better for different adventures (eg snorkelling). Stay above 4 star for quality in my opinion. |

Cuba for sure. You may find less crimes in the island than in anyone else. Also Cuba offers a lot of activities for kids of every age every day. In fact the kids are the ones who have best options in the Island. _________________ http://www.cubacation.net |

Scriv is asking people here for information about a good place in the Caribbean to take kids, hoping that someone here has insight into places that are kid friendly. Since you are promoting Caribbean travel, I would have thought that you might be a good resource for a question like this.
Instead you add a flip remark about talking to a travel agency.
Please try to provide more useful information in the future.
(And since the original request was in January, Scriv has probably already traveled, or at least made arrangements to travel, by this time.) _________________ Lee's Travel Guide
