Arrhhh I'm so excited! My husband and I have just booked up a 3 month trip to Africa next year and I cannot wait.
We will fly into Nairobi and then take a flight straight to Kilimanjaro to do 2 weeks volunteer work with children in primary schools in Moshi, Tanzania. Then we'll fly back to Nairobi where we'll start an 8 week trip from. On the trip we'll be visiting Kenya, Uganda (for a gorilla trek through the jungle), Tanzania, Malawia, Zambia, Bostwana, Namibia and South Africa. After a week in South Africa taking in Cape Town and the Garden Route, we'll be doing 2 weeks volunteer work in a lion park near Johannesberg working and hand raising lion cubs.
We're not going till July next year but I'm so excited already! My husband's already fed up of hearing about it from me and we've only just booked it! So thought I would come on here and let all you guys know as I'm looking foward to it so much that I have to just tell everyone!

I'm so Jealous - Wish I could go back!
Seriously though, the flight into Kilimajaro has probably got to be the best airport approach in the world - flying past Mount Kilimanjaro - keep your camera handy, it sure is a WOW moment.
Looks like you are visiting many countries that I would like to visit. I will visit them (when i'm rich)
I know what you mean about being excited. My holiday started three months before I even set foot on that plane. My colleagues were so fed up of me being exited about my trip they were glad to see me go!
Enjoy your trip. _________________ http://www.holidaysuncapeverde.co.uk |
