Hello,

For those who have travelled to Kenya, what were the pros and cons you saw about the country.

Would you like to go back and visit again?

Hello Wildin Tanzania,

That's an advert on my signature... and its funny you've placed it as a pro.... didn't think of it like that.

Have any cons to say about Kenya?

yes I do but it is hardly fair to kick a country when it is down!

I live next door in TZ and am quite familiar with Kenya's woes atm.

One thing I should say is security in Nairobi - we refer to i ast 'Night robbery' for good reason.

Yeah I agree... Its becoming a real problem these days. But its mostly to people who have car problems late at night and have to stop at night... I think that's the case in most countries.... If you have problems its best to try stop at a petrol station.

Apart from that I think we're good.... There are so many whites living here you can't even distinguish who is a tourist.

Kenya is an interesting place to visit. It has nice hotels and lodges for tourists.
Wildlife is the main tourist attraction here followed by sandy beach activities.

Aspects to be concerned about are the unfriendliness of city dwellers, beach prostitution and bribery from some sectors.

Kenya is fantastic for a really authentic safari, and it has some superb beach hideaway. The cons pretty much are that it is slightly more expensive than other safari destinations at the moment. I absolutely would return to Kenya, the only thing stopping me is the allure of all of Africa's other beautiful countries.

OK, relatively to it's neighbours:

PROS:
1. professional service (Kenya tourist service miles ahead of Tz and Ug)
2. cheap (compared to Tz)
3. less tourist (than Tz)

CONS:
1. More dangerous
2. Beach life less "genuine"
3. Corruption

It was a wonderful trip to Kenya. You can enjoy wildlife, majestic mountains, animals etc. Those people are very friendly.

The problem we have in Kenya is corruption and traffic (Mainly in Nairobi)

In Kenya, brought a lot of money being .. Tourism due to everyone who has money to spend thousands of U.S. dollars is to go on Safari. Kenya is a beautiful country with beautiful people. A little over a year ago, there were presidential elections. Current president was re-elected by a slim margin.Take losing candidate, was not sitting down. He still wanted to be president. This caused conflict between two or more tribes. Occurred in the riots and more than 1000 people being killed. It cut down on tourism. Economic crisis hitting at World Tour Now with Africa and Kenya in particular are being

Don't you guys think that Kenya's Parks and Reserves are beyond words' description, and they are just fantastic and non-reproducible.

I think whenever people are faced with the natural wonders, he will begin to reflect his own being, and that's a good chance to know himself better!

Kenya is definitely a good place to go!!! Laughing Laughing
