The Great Wall is well-known because of its magnificent majestic appearance. The Great Wall has become the head key point of interest in China. More and more foreign people were attracted by it. The people who visited it are all acclaim as the peak of perfection. The Great Wall convolves on the ridges of mountains and desert. It’s maked up of city gates, circumvallation, enemy towers, signal beacon towers and so on, it was the martial recovery engineering system of the different place and nations in China Long time ago.It was built through several thousands years by Chinese people, its the embodiment of the Great power and strong purpose of Chinese people. It has become the irradiant treasure of our Chinese archaic civilization. Many move one to praises and tears stories have taken place between the people bide inside and outside of The Great Wall in the long time traffics, it has been attracting many bookmen indited or paint for it, which added so many cantos and paints to our artistic thesaurus.
The Great Wall we see today mostly dates back to the Ming Dynasty. The best-preserved and most imposing section is at Badaling in Beijing. The section, located outside the Juyongguan Pass, is made of large blue bricks and has an average height of 7.8 meters. Five to six horses can be ridden abreast along it. At regular intervals there is an arched door leading to the top of the wall. The walls are covered with many lookout holes, window embrasures and castellated crenels. Beacon towers were also built at fixed intervals for passing on military information. All these indicate the important role of the Great Wall in military defense.

In fact, it is quite far from the south of China to the north, Therefore, we don't go to the Great Wall. But someday we would like to pay a visit there, since Beijing is an attractive city with many places of interest.

The Great Wall of China is one of the finest wonders of the globe and it is approximately 5,500 miles long from east to west of China. It is one of the most attractive all over the world.

I think visiting China will not be complete if you haven't been to the Great Wall or at least take a glance on this ancient and history rich structure.

The Great Wall of China

When I was in grade school years ago, we studied about the 7 wonders of the world and Great Wall is one of those wonders.

I have learned that you can see the Great wall from the moon and that is really cool. Smile

I would love to someday visit that site and experience how exciting the walk will be, especially if you're with your family and friends.

Also, the history of that place is amazing and one of a kind. It is indeed worth the visit.
