I am looking for something different to see this year in Europe. I have done all the main cities and visited many European countries.

Does anyone have any unique holiday ideas? Something real different from the norm. Something new and interesting?

Hi Barry, what sort of holiday are you interested in? Are you into adventure and activities or more into sight-seeing, history and culture? I work with London Luton Airport and there's a great section on the website where you can look at lots of different destinations and find out more information about them. Here's the link: http://www.london-luton.co.uk/en/destinationmap/. Hope this helps. Claire

if you are after some fantastic scenary i would suggest the far east. if you'd rather do more active type holidays then maybe consider a mountain climbing adventure or similar. definitely different

I would like you to visit Costa Brava which could be termed as one of the best destinations for summer vacations. The temperature is warm and sunny with slightly cooler evenings.

The wild coast offers modern-day resorts on the shoreline, traditional Spanish villages and the diversity of architecture, bars, cafes, museums and art galleries.

Its beaches are main reason for tourist attraction. Moreover, some of the best beaches of Costa Brava are listed below.

• Gandia
• Aigua Blava
• Tamariu
• Llafanc

If you visit there I hope you will enjoy your vacations over there.

I guess it's probably a bit late to be responding on this... but...

If I were you, I would think about some ferry hopping around the Baltic. There are loads of connecting trips, and some pretty spectacular cities and scenic areas. You could probably see Stockholm, Helsinki, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia in a couple of weeks, and maybe even top it off with some time in St Petersburg.

Such a trip is definitely on my to-do list, once my daughters are old enough to appreciate it Smile

HF Holidays do some great walking and adventure holidays in Europe which are a bit different to the normal fly and flop holidays that a lot of tour operators offer. A walking or cycling holiday will help you see more of the beautiful scenery. Don't worry If you aren't an experienced walker, they offer easy walks too that get to see just as much!
