Another hard question, so much to see so little time to do it in.

Botswana for a safari experience has my vote, visiting Chobe, Linyanti, Savuti, Selinda and finally The Okavango Delta

My favorite has to be Cameroon. The people are the friendliest anywhere. If it is a wildlife experience you are after then you will not get better than Uganda,it has it all. Mountain Gorilla in lush forests, wide open savanna and the most amazing bird watching.

I guess you'd have to visit all of them first to know for sure. But of the places I've been to, I'd go with Kenya, but perhaps not right now!

Tanzania/ Kenya are both Safari essentials - Would be interested to know what people actually thought of Botswana for a destination. I imagine its probably going to get massive in the next few years as Kenya did in the 60s/70s?

Equally South Africa is a cool place to go

I would say Tanzania. I love the nature there with diverse landscapes and lots of wildlife. Interacting with the local people is sooo interesting... as the country has over 130 different tribes with each their own traditions and culture.
End you stay on Tanzania with a few days on Zanzibar. Stone town has an interesting arabian culture and during a stay on the beach you can totally relax or explore the Indian Ocean when snorkeling or diving.
For people who are more adventures, climbing the highest mountain of Africa is a once in a lifetime experience. You can reach the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in no less than 5 days.

Tanzania has a lot to offer for various kind of people.

I would say Mauritius. The island of Mauritius finds itself as one of the most accessible islands in the Indian Ocean. Three major factors found in the island of Mauritius serve as attraction for many tourists. These are the sea, sun and sand. Tourist from different countries enjoyed the hot and sunny climate of the summer.

Tanzania - the most diverse fauna and flora on the continent. This is as a result of the diversity of habitats from the snows of Kilimanjaro to the Eastern Arc Forests ....

Yes, I also agree with other forum members that Tanzania is one of the prominent and beautiful places in Africa. If you visit there so you can see lots of places especially its wild life safaris which is popular all over the world.
