don't think you can beat the suffolk coast, so much to do and so much to see! the places to visit include aldeburgh, thorpeness, southwold, dunwich, walberswick and many many more!
(not forgetting aldeburgh probably has the best fish and chip shop in england!) _________________ Holiday Cottages on the Suffolk Coast

Of course I like London. I have been there at least 60 times.
However, Edinburgh, Lake District, Bristol is good choices to go. _________________ Oooops! My sig doesn't comply with the rules on signature files and has been removed by a moderator

| I lived in London for many years, so am totally biased. It really does have so much going for it that you have to have it on your list if you are visiting the UK at all. Book ahead and try and get some good deals on accomodation or you'll end up paying a packet. |

Hill climbing in the middle of the city. Extinct volcanoes. Art Galleries galore. Haggis hunting (a pub lunch anyone?) . Poetry engraved in the walls of the parliament. Shopping for 21st Century kilts, bagpipes, and sporrans. Festivals and frolics. Ghosts and an Underground City. Camera Obscura, Dynamic Earth. Botanic Gardens. Christmas Festival. Hogmanay. Oh and so far I haven't mentioned Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Zoo, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Theatres, Cinemas, Cafes, Bars, Restaurants. What are you waiting for? _________________ Sandcastle Holidays (Scotland) Ltd

Dublin (for those who have a problem with geography) is in Ireland - NOT the UK.
c'mon people - learn up!
otherwise- what about:
1. The Western Isles
2. The Lake District
3.Edinburgh
4.London (big and expensive but worth it)
5. North Wales |

I believe that London is the best for tourists, as they wont be short of sights to see and places to visit. However, I believe to get the real beauty of UK, a car journey into the country and the small villages of the UK really show how beautiful this country is such as the villages in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, lovely places... _________________ Gran Canaria Holidays

Commonly regarded as the UK’s first seaside resort, Scarborough has a population of over 50,000 and is the largest holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast providing a wide selection of quality hotels – a great choice for a UK holiday or short break. _________________ hotel Scarborough|hotels in Scarborough|Hotels Yorkshire |

I agree Bedfordshire is beautiful and not too far from London so anyone coming to the south would have the opportunity to experience both. I would have to say Edinburgh runs both very closely, great nightlife and places to eat but also lovely sights to see like Edinburgh Castle. _________________ Become our fan on Facebook |

As I am now looking where to go in London and out of it I found one good offer to visit: Warwick, Stratford, Oxford and the Costwolds. It will tay one full day to good and the price is realy cheap! If someone is interesting also, just write here and I'll try to give more details
By the way in Oxford the harry Potter's scenes were filmed, in Stratford Shakespeare was borned i think.
Cheers |

Although I am originally from Spain I have been living & working in busy London for quite a few years now.
Last Easter holiday I went to South Wales with a couple of friends and I was actually quite suprised in a positive way. London is an amazing muticultural capital but if you are looking for a different experience I strongly recommed Wales. I visited Cardiff and surrondings and we spent one day in a small village by the sea called Llantwit Major (really really cosy, and the old lady from tourist information was absolutely lovely). _________________ www.gayhomestays.com |
