Upmarket travelers would appreciate the finesse and beauty that Poland has been able to sustain over the centuries. There are certainly wonderful restaurants and hotels that can accommodate upmarket travelers.

Mamaison Le Regina Hotel – they claim to be the only hotel located in the Old Town. Not a bad option. Everything is of rather high standard. Just ignore the fact that they allow smokers to light'em up just near the breakfast buffet.

The Hotel Rialto – Warsaw's first boutique hotel, (or at least so they say). Nice rooms, although they need to re-think the bathroom door, (I stayed in one of the larger art déco suites with two doors leading to the bathroom). Inexperienced staff, when I stayed there. Location? Not entirely in the center of things. Go there with realistic expectations and you'll be quite fine.

Enjoy Warsaw! I did.

If it's on the map I'll probably go there and if there's something to tell about the place, it will probably end up on http://www.guidebook.se
