Autumn (fall) is a great time to travel. Like the east coast of the United States, the trees turn from lush green to gold, amber and ruby red. If you're renting a car you'll have the best chance of seeing the most beautiful sights. Quebec is particularly picturesque. It's very much like a European city in its appearance so there's lots of opportunities for photographs!

You simply can't go wrong going almost anywhere in the Maritimes. Get off the main highways and explore the pastoral back roads - by car, bicycle or motorcycle. If the weather happens to be a bit off when you're here, well the people make up for the weather. Whales, thousands of birds, bears, deer, moose, great sailing water - from the high tides of the Bay of Fundy to the beautiful Saint John River Valley. Lots of fishing opportunities. You'll even forget to keep up with the world news when you are here - it is so stress-free....

The view at Lake Louise is perfect for me.

Mountains, water and the glacier as a backdrop.

My only disappointment was that it was still frozen when I saw it in May.

Must return during the summer time. Very Happy

Bob Buttercup.

Newfoundland is a gorgeous province. Most traveler's have not heard of it and if they have haven't heard much. Newfoundland has tons to offer traveler's looking for anything from traveling through a breathtaking fjiord, to exploring a million year old cave. If thats not your cup of tea come try the world class fishing wether it be jigging a cod on the ocean or catching a prize salmon in the some of the best rivers in the country. Come discover Newfoundland, and see a way of life you thought only existed in the movies.

There's a lot more to Canada than Montreal and Toronto. Calgary's a very friendly city. More so the landscapes on either coast are tremendously gorgeous.

Generally good... depends where you are. Canada is BIG. Southern B.C. some towns might be over 100. Go far enough North the same day and it might be only 50.

Newfoundland is great if you want a slower pace of life on your vacation.

I have never been there nor examined too many pictures of it, but victoria is often considered the prettiest city in the country, I believe.

For the big three (Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto) I would have to say that from the pictures that I have seen of it, Vancouver is certainly the nicest as far as geography goes. It looks absolutely beautiful! Mountains all around, the ginormous Stanley Park in the middle, a large bay and river (I think), ect.

Montreal has probably the nicest historical buildings and areas. Parts of old Montreal look a lot like pictures of French towns that I have seen (never been there, unfortunately), which seem quite nice.

Overall, however, I would have to say that Toronto is the best and the nicest. But I am Torontonian, of course, so that figures. It is the most diverse, coolest, looks a lot like New York (yet another place that I have never been, however. It sucks. I have not been to very many places at all. I have been to Montreal, though), ect. (they often film street scenes that are meant to be in New York in Toronto).

In my opinion, based on all the places I have been to Vancouver is really nice. Many things to see there.

Next would be Montreal. (OLD PORT is great)

Next is Toronto. Toronto is quite large, so it takes time to see everything there.

I would have to say Vancouver Island myself but that is where I live. Worth a visit!
