I just got back from a trip to Brazil...If you go there are 3 places you have to check out. Salvador during carnival (crazy parties), Rio (best beaches), and Iguazu Falls (best views)

Bahia, lots of things can be said about this wonderfull and colourfull culture with many African influences.

Fact remains it is one of h te most charming states of Brazil, situated in the north-east.

I live here for some years now and learned a lot about the land, its nature and people, and could share my knowledge with you.
My thing is organising tailormade travels here inside Bahia where you could visit places where tourists seldom come as well as the most famous places such as the city of Salvador and the overwhelming natural reserve / park of the Chapada Diamantina (brazilian version of the Grand Canyon)

How I work ? Just take a look at my site
Tropical greetings

Ivan

"Which is the best beach and the best tourist attraction?"

As already stated here, Brazil is HUGE and there's a million places to go, depending on your interests...
My own favorite beach destination in Brazil is Jericoacoara, but Fernando de Noronha is definitely also on my list of places yet to go!

The best attraction is really hard to say, even from my own point of view. I guess I'll have to say Pantanal. It's a must for nature & wildlife enthusiasts.

Have a great trip!

Paraty is a great place... so quiet, but full of cultural events throughout the year.

One of the most chill beaches in Brazil is Praia Mole in Florianopolis, Brazil. Thats in the south, close to Argentina. It also serves as an amazing weekend away from either Sao Paulo, Rio or Buenos Aires.

Buzios, a little peninsula north of Rio de Janeiro, has some of the best beaches in Brazil. Less busy than the famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana in Rio, these beaches are popular with locals, surfers, and those seeking a quieter beach.

There's also a vibrant nightlife along Rua Rua das Pedras too, with excellent seafood restaurants and, thanks to the influence of the French actress Bridgette Bardot, who visited the enclave in the sixties, plenty of French restaurants.

Florianopolis, Illha Grande, and Paraty are other must-see beach spots along Brazil's beautiful coast.

If you want beach go to the northern beaches, around fortaleza, recife, they have the most beautiful beaches.you want adventure there are plenty of eco-sports in brazil, mountain climbing & biking, bungee jumping, hiking.
you want nature, there are 2 spots ive been to that are absolutely great
pantanal and abrolhos.
