Does anyone have any travel experiences here? I will be travelling there in December with my husband but might have to spend a few days on my own. _________________ Wilp Gybuu (Wolf House) Bed and Breakfast http://www.tofinobedandbreakfast.com |

December is the best season of all I'd say. Im not a expert traveler its always good not to know about the places you travel if you know there wont be any ADVENTURE! _________________ Office space Chicago | Office Space Manhattan |

Depending on where you are going in Saudi Arabia. Jeddah (the port city) Ryiadh, you sould be fine as long as you have a male companion with you. Makkah i think you only enter if you are a muslim. Ryiadh is very grand with hugh malls and office buildings and large cantts,,, area secluded and secure for non national working in Kingdom.
and as a female you have to keep yourself covered. Saudi also have a few islamic festivals and lots of people travel to saudi each year. and some twons and area get very crowded at certain times of the year. check the local guide before travelling. _________________ "Holiday Help" know before you go

I have returned from my family visit to Saudi and had a good time. Difficult to get a Visa for sure. I saw some lovely places and things. Shopping is great and very inexpensive. I do not like the male/female segregation though and put up with if for a month but that's about my limit. Having to be covered and wearing an abaya and hijab kinda takes the joy out of walking, visiting beaches, etc. and especially when it's hot. Food is great! Arab 'in home' hospitality is really exceptional! _________________ Wilp Gybuu (Wolf House) Bed and Breakfast http://www.tofinobedandbreakfast.com |
