Travel around the world trip: Starting January 2010

Hi all,

My round the world trip will be starting in January 2010, and I'm looking for anyone who is planning a similar trip to travel together. I'm an easy going guy and a keen traveller who love to meet new people.

My rough Itinerary at a glance:

Leaving Melbourne on 11th January 2010, heading to South America first,

Argentina;
Brazil;
Peru
Chile
Mexico
US and Canada
Europe
South Africa for the world cup.

I Will be doing the Inca Trail; Rio Carnival; Amazon rainforest, Easter Island etc. And hopefully can do some safari or domestic travelling in Africa. At the moment. the whole trip is about 7-8 months but the exact timeline will be decided as the trip going along.

Here is a little bit about myself, I've been working in the last few years and always thinking to do a round the world trip by myself, love adventures and new challenges, reckon the world should have more to offer in life than just working like a robot day in day out, time to find out the meaning of life before it's too late, so a round the world trip would be my perfect remedy, to expand my horizon and see the world from different perspective and angle. Also looking forward to do some volunteer work overseas if possible. Normally I travel by myself but would love to have a travel Companions for a big trip like this, or anyone may be interested to meet up or happen to be around in the same area at the similar time frame, please drop me a line. Hopefully will see some of you next year.
