That's pretty cool, and an interesting use of the google maps technology! Smile

Strangely that link seems to be pointing to a newspaper article now, and not to the Google Map. Not sure how that happened.

Really good use of googlemaps by Google!

It will be interesting to see how often it is updated as I noticed today on the map a case near to me wasn't showing up

it isn't live anymore. I just checked it. Unless there is a lag of a few days. We've not had at least 13 suspected (and a few confirmed I understand) cases here in the state of Washington/

Q. Is it worth taking Vitamin C?

A. Alternative health practitioners of homeopathy, herbal remedies and nutritional medicine are recommending measures to protect against the flu. They are about as useful as a water pistol against a forest fire.

This week has seen as increase of people being diagnosed from 14,000 to 18,000. The experts are calling this the second wave and are apparently pleased that it has come this soon after the initial outbreak as this tends to mean there won't be a third.

Fingers crossed!!

I would say at this junture that you should make sure that your travel insurance covers you for pandemics!

Don't panic people, normal flu affects more people every year.

Swine flu is small fry.

E.g.
" these annual epidemics result in about three to five million cases of severe illness, and about 250 000 to 500 000 deaths."
