I have been to Costa Rica before and loved it. But I want to know where the best beach is believed to be? I was in Manuel Antonio and that was nice, any better than that?

THanks

Less rain, huge sandy beach, quiet area, nesting grounds of leatherback turtle. You might want to check out Playa Grande.

I loved Cahuita and it`s surrounding much more than Manuel Antonio - it`s the real Carribean atmosphere (which was the first time for me so that helped liking it too ofcourse...)

IMO, Manuel Antonio is one of the best beaches in Mexico because their best view of sea with white sands, stunning blue green water and best forest with streaming waterfalls it is popular in the world that is why every year peoples visits in a huge amount. You can also do the activities of surfing, snorkeling and hiking so if you plan for vacation I recommend you to visit this beach.

Manuel Antonio is not only one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches, but one of the most beautiful in the entire world. Imagine: perfect horseshoe bays bordered by soft white sands, dazzling blue-green waters, and hilltops piled with jungle and streaming waterfalls. Dive, snorkel, surf, kayak, hike, or zipline

Manuel Antonio is OK, but I really liked Santa Rosa Nationa Park and Playa Samara...less crowded, and with excellent beaches.

I haven't been to Costa Rica. But I have seen this site where you can see some of the best beaches around Costa Rica.

If you are interested, here is the link to the site I have visited: http://www.anywherecostarica.com/destinations/habitat/beach

I love going to the beach, especially when the sun is setting and you'll see different colors reflecting in the waters of the sea. Smile

A nice beach with cristal blue water is Playa Conchal. Quiet beaches and great for kite and windsurfing are Bahia Salinas in the north of Guanacaste. Manuel Antonio is great, but often many peoples. Another good option are Cahuita and the beaches south in the Punta Uva area.

Manuel Antonio absolutely not. If you are looking for a sandy tropical beach with a low amount of foliage you need to go to Playa Conchal, Playa Langosta, Playa Tamarindo, or Playa Flamingo. Try any of these and you'll find what you're looking for. Also, the towns are very nice so you'll have plenty to see and do.

Playa Sámara itself is nice enough, but if you venture just slightly farther afield, you'll find some of the nicest and least developed beaches along the entire Guanacaste coast. Playa Carrillo is a long, almost always deserted crescent of palm-backed white sand located just south of Sámara, while Playa Barrigona and Playa Buena Vista are two hidden gems tucked down a couple of dirt roads to the north. The land all around Playa Barrigona was recently purchased by actor Mel Gibson, but the beach, like all beaches in Costa Rica, remains open to the public.
