French Canadians, what did they do wrong?

I've not met many Canadians, but those that I have all say the same thing, that their French counterparts are odd. Why they didn't say, but has anyone any idea? Is there something I should no before I go?

Not sure what you mean, different language, culture and sometimes religion but I'm not sure that makes anyone odd?

its likely a bit of geographic rivalry. There are plenty of Americans who find Southerners odd, Californians odd, New Englanders odd, etc
