Drop Waterford altogether. drop a night from Dublin and spend it n the Wicklow Mountains at or near Roundwood, near enough to easily reach beautiful Glendalough.

The Roundwood Inn, Roundwood Bray Co. Wicklow Phone (01) 2818107 is fabby.

Put in a couple of nights in lovely South West Cork, the prettiest part of all Ireland! - Baltimore, Union Hall, Ballydehob, Schull and Goleen.

Another thought, rather than move from place to place, take a cottage for a week in one place and take day trips out. Maybe somewhere round about Bantry, from where you can go North to Killarney passing Kenmare, South to the Mizzen and Sheep's Head, penninsulas and east to Cork and Kinsale. Try a really reasonably priced site which we have rented from twice and will again later this year

Have a great time and if you can squeeze it in, the music in Doolin in County Clare is world famous and the Guinness in O'Connors is divine! Oh and you can catch a boat from there out to the Aran Islands.

Don't make our mistake and take on too much driving.
The country roads are poor and it takes for ever to get anywhere.
The suggestion of renting a cottage and taking day trips has a lot to recommend it.
We loved dingle and could have stayed a lot longer than our two nights and still ahve found more to see and more of the local culture to soak up.
