Hi everyone, I was planning a trip to Canada with my family. I don’t have much idea on that place and I am still preparing my plans to visit the country. I would like to know from the travelers as what are the places I should be visiting there and any suggestions and advices would be welcome.
Thanks in advance! |

Canada is a very large country. What are you interested in? Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec City, Halifax and Calgary are all good places to start. _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |

Canada is a great country and you could really enjoy yourself out there if you have got a well planned trip. Any trip needs to be well-planned if you want to enjoy it completely. The unspoiled beauty of Canada's wilderness has been the playground for adventurers and vacationers alike for generations. It's exactly the kind of natural majesty that continually has visitors returning north of the border. I would recommend a visit to Montreal from the cities there as that is quite a good one. One more thing that I would advice would be getting a good accommodation there prior to your visit, as you would not be in trouble later.

hello all,
Yes, Canada is a big place and it all depends if you are looking for mountains, hiking, city shopping and historical sights or just what you like to see while on a trip.
If it is mountains you like then BC and Alberta for sure, if you like the larger cities try Toronto or Montreal; for the quaint coastal areas try the East coast provinces and the people are very friendly there too. _________________ personalized.....luggage tags |

Canada is a big place. I do not think you would be able to cover the most of it at one go. So I would suggest you to select some areas to visit making your base at one place. _________________ Bed and Breakfast |

Post what you'd like to see, then we can go from there. Toronto ON and the surrounding cities (even hamilton) is good for seeing monuments (CN Tower, Niagara falls), then you could make your way north into Quebec and check out a lot of nice things there. I would recommend western Alberta / Eastern BC for the mountains and nature/animals. It's very breathtaking there. I'll never forget my experience in BC. _________________ A great resource for all of the luxury resort information you need. |

I have travel through Canada extensively. One of the most beautiful places (imo)is Victoria, BC. They also have one of the mildest climates in North America. Lots of natural beauty, great restaurants and really awesome and friendly people. You can get to Vancouver Island from Post Angeles, WA. _________________ I found some great las vegas vacation packages |

| If you are outdoorsy I would suggest that you go fly fishing in Norse Lake which is in the Northwest Ontario. It might be a little too late for this, last time I went it was in the middle of the summer. The water was nice and the fish were biting, well at least more than my usual degree of success. |

I was born in Toronto in Canada. I think one of the things that you must must do, however, is go to the CNN Tower in Toronto and also go to Niagara Falls. I believe that Niagara Falls is one of the worlds natural seven wonders, however, a more seasoned traveller may want to correct me on that one.. !!
You must then head north to Calgary and then drive down to Vancouver through the mountains and Banff National Park. The secenary is amazing. Lush clear blue lagoons with hotels built into the sides of the mountains.
I have never been to Quebec, however, I am told that is also rich in cultural diversity.

Canada is full of tourist destinations but few of them are a must see for everyone. For example
• Vieux Quebec (Old Quebec)
• Waterton Lakes National Park (Alberta)
• Banff National Park (Alberta)
• Long Beach (Ontario)
• Sauble Beach (Ontario)
• Grand Beach (Manitoba)
The places shared above are my favorite. Lets see what other forum members share. |
