That Still doesnt answer the question. The question is:
Does the travel agency not have to tell you of any changes?
Yes. / No. ?
Maybe its a daft question but would be nice to know the answer! _________________ My Cruise Website and my Forum:

That wasnt so hard! I was getting your point about making sure nothings change to be on the safe side..
I just wanted to know if they had to. Im sure if they didnt tell you of any changes they could claim compensation providing it messed up the holiday in some way! _________________ My Cruise Website and my Forum:

searching for cruises is a tough thing. sometimes you can get a better rate by just going right to the cruise line's website, but not always. they can only sell at a certain rate because they cant short their affiliates otherwise nobdoy would use an affiliate. up until 3 months ago you would be able to search the web and you could find the same exact cruise from 3 sites yes the price would be a major difference. I have seen them as much as 300 per person difference. this was because larger distributors would cut into their commissions to give you a better price. the major cruise lines have since stopped this because it is unfair to the smaller shops who dont recieve as high of a commission. this basically means taht most places will over you the same deal no matter where you go. there are some stipulations to this. if the compnay has purchased group rates ahead of time they will offer you a better rate. if they have a special going on that others arent offering. for the most part you will only see a minor difference in price. the only time you will see a big difference in price is when one company is charging way more than they should for the trip. the best advice i can give you is that you need a compnay that provides good customer service because prices will be almost the same give or take, but how you are delt w/ as far as recieveing tickets, answer questions and things like that are goign to be important to you down the road. if the agent blows you off teh second he has your deposit, youll see how tough it can be to get answers to any of your questions. _________________ Bryan H

i've been doing some research and it seems pretty tough to get deals on cruises unless you're willing to wait until the last minute.
I was able to find a few good deals in a discount club that I'm a member of. It was any $ savings but they gave a free shore excursion. _________________ Luxury Resort Membership |

$1349 Balcony / $859 Inside / Transatlantic in October 07
found on vacationstogo.com
I always check in this order:
1. vacationstogo.com
2. crucon.com
3. cruisesonly.com
Then I take the best quote to my preferred provider/agent, tell him the quote I have got already and then he usually beats the lowest quote for $50 or so to make me book with him. That works pretty good and he got me an upgrade 3 times out of 15 cruises.
I learned that almost all big providers can match each other in price - you just need to ask for it. _________________ See my profile at www.CabinMatch.com .

Cruise deals to the Caribbean are offered all the time and for various reasons. Sometimes good deals are offered because the ship is disembarking during an off peak travel season and sometimes it' s because there aren' t enough cabins filled to justify the cruise ship taking off.

When it comes to cruise I always refer Galapagos Island well the cruising experience I had with them is the best, the scuba diving is so much fun I had a chance to play with the dolphins the sea lions are so playful, if you are looking for a cruising company ask them if they have more to offer for you _________________ Web blog and travel guide on Cebu Island and Siem Reap Cambodia. |
