|
|
Hi,
I need help, we are 2 yummy Mummy's, we've just booked flights to NZ with 4 little nutty boys! We want to buy a converted vehical, like a small bus. It needs to be big enough for all of us. And not too big that I can't drive it!
Could someone out there help me..we don't have much money to spend so will have to be second hand!
Where will I find my new home!!
Thanks
Angie |

you can get used long wheel base vans for ~4000 NZD (check the hostel boards). i dont know the campervan rates, but it may be a much better deal if you only stay there for a short time (less than 4 months). keep in mind that you get a pretty new car with warranty, insurance and road site assistance and dont have to worry about buying and selling (thats the hard part!) the car later if you just rent one. _________________ get around cheap: Backpacker carpools & road trips |

Much depends on the time of year you are travelling and how long you are staying. You could buy a 7-8-seat minicoach for around $2500-$3000 with a buyback at half that price from Downtown Rentals. That way you know for sure you can unload it lon the day you leave. If your trip is less than 2 months it will be cheaper to rent. Downtown Rentals
- can't post their URL but Google New-Zealand-Rental-cars.com will bring them up - also have Family Camping vans that take six pax with tents and all the camping gear.

Just a though, why do you have to buy if you are just visiting NZ. hmmm... that could be a lot of expense. registration and everything else that goes with owning a second owned vehicle _________________ RV hire USA |
