|
|
What I am planning is 2 weeks on safari in Africa and at the moment I am unsure which countries to choose (maybe 2) and which are best for safaris, secruity and in generally great to visit.
Can anyone suggest the best options? _________________ Belly Dance classes | Sicily Property | Bangkok

Of course it's completely a matter of personal taste... I prefer Tanzania to Kenya, because there are fewer people and the experience is slightly less commercial. And I think for sheer variety there's South Africa - you'll find every kind of safari there.

Come experience Uganda, its not like anything you have seen before.A plush evergreen country with shorter safari routes but more attractive ones, land of the endagered
mountain gorilla, where visitors travel way back in time to see the much sought after pre-historic shoebill stock,a maze of beautiful water bodies where all your favourite water sports can be done. You will chance on being in the southern and
nothern hemispheres simultaneously, challenge the snowy peak of Rwenzori the highest and one of the most diffcult mountain ranges in Africa, but also taking time to cool off in the Ssese islands on lake victoria.Uganda is a classic birding mecca
where the avian species top 1013, standing alone in Africa.
You will surely not afford missing the White water rafting, Kayaking, Quad biking and bungee jumping at the bujagali falls, the adrenaline capital of east frica.Uganda’s national parks are awash with anything from the largest Crocodile and Hippo populations in Africa,to the newest kid on the bloc, find the newest crane specie
discovery. All the big five can be seen widely in almost all national parks.

An African safari adventure is an amazing experience that everyone should be fortunate enough to have at least once in their lifetime.
Travel through the beautiful evergreen mountain Uganda countryside in the West, to Bwindi Impenetrable Mountain Gorillas National Park forests and enjoy a day of exciting yet adventurous gorilla trekking tour in the forest of Bwindi game reserve. |

Nice cut and paste job there, Ian. If you're only here to get some signature files seen, at least be honest about it. You're not posting from the UK, but rather INDIA.
Why lie about where you're posting from? If you lie about something as simple as that, you cast a big shadow of doubt on the businesses you are trying to promote. Frankly, if this is the way they get word out, I wouldn't trust any of them. _________________ My flight map. A million miles and counting....Where I’ve been around the globe. |

For many years Kenya was considered the premier safari destination in Africa. However in recent years it has tended to become the destination of choice for most tour groups. In east Africa Safari covering the best national parks in Kenya and Tanzania. _________________ Good source for Cozumel travel deals |

South Africa man!
Great safari options, and in two weeks you can safari in the Kruger National Park, visit Swaziland, hit the beaches of the east coast, and hike the Drakensberg (an amazing mountain range- google it!).
The advantage SA has over east Africa (Kenya/Tanzania) is there is a better variety of safaris, its cheaper, its easier to get around (you can rent a car - something you cant really do in Kenya), and its got such an amazing history.

Shoebill? That's amazing, I just watched a video on the bird on YouTube as I had never heard of or seen that bird before. It looks unreal! 'llI have to travel there sometime just to see that bird. _________________ travel agent Atlanta Geogia

Kenya is a great place for a safari and yes it can be pretty touristy at times but you cannot fault the wildlife.
Kenya has so much to offer and you are almost guaranteed to see all the wildlife you want. Also it is pretty good value too and OK, you won't get the glitzy lodges you get in somewhere like South Africa but you will get a real safari experience!
You have to do the Great Rift Valley and the Masai Mara, and somewhere like Samburu is pretty great for elephants.
Kenya is a great place for a first safari. Tanzania is a good choice to, but can be more expensive, largely due to the park fees being much higher than they are in Kenya!
Happy travelling! _________________ Darren

Hi i suggest you visit Kenya and Tanzania and go to the following parks
Samburu, Mara, Amboseli, Nakuru and Tsavo East in Kenya then Serengeti, Ngorongoro, L. Manyara, Tarangire in Tanzania.
If you are lucky you experience the wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara.
I recently did a very successiful Safari with All Seasons Safaris & Tours and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wishes to travel to East Africa.
They organized a safari for us both in Kenya and Tanzania and we got a very good and experienced driver/guide.
We saw all the big five as well as other animals.
We were very luck to experience the migration which is considered the greatest wildlife show on earth. 7th Natural wonder of the world. |

From Kenya's Aberdares National Park ( where elephants, buffaloes and other animals visit you at the floodlit waterholes of The Ark amid spectacular waterfalls and rainforests) to Tanzania's High mountains, deep forests, bird sanctuaries, archaeological and historical sites, you might want to consider either of the countries.
Whichever your choice, hope you have a most memorable safari. _________________ Africa Travel | AfricaPoint.com | African Safari |

I think Kenya and Kruger Park are the best place to view African safari. Traveling to this 2 places means a complete wild safari enjoyment. It takes 3 days to see Kenya safari and almost 4 days to see Kruger Park safari. So what you are waiting for? _________________ “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” (Keep traveling). |
