Hi,

My friends and I planing to have a short holiday to melbourne. Is there any suggestion which nice location for side seeing. We will be going in the middle of July for a week. Hope you guys can give us ideas where should we visit. Thanks

You could do the Great Ocean Road and Bells Beach .
But remember to take your winter woollies with you it will be cold and possible wet and windy

Not sure about how the weather would be at that time, but if it's not too chilly and you're up for a bit of adventure, you might want to drive out a bit to Mount Gambier from Melbourne and see some natural wonders there. It's quite popular for its volcanoes, lakes and caves. You could go on an eco-tour of sorts if you're into that kind of sight-seeing. Smile Lots of cheap hotels in the area too, if you're planning to stay a while; I have a friend that stayed at the Jubilee Motor Inn when he backpacked over there last year.

Melbourne is a stunning city with many exotic destinations. It hosts number of antique buildings like St. Paul’s, St. Patrick’s Church and The Royal Exhibition. It’s also considered a paradise for sports fanatics, animal lovers and shoppers.
Well, I’d like to recommend visiting places like the Yarra River, Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary and the Queen Victoria Market.
