How far west are you thinking of going?
If your going over the mountains and are a fan of Motorsport a few laps around Mt Panorama, Bathurst is one place that is well worth considering.
That racetrack is purely amazing, steep, tight and one of the best in the world. Take a drive around it or even better a walk or bike and imagine doing it at 200km across the top - 300kms an hour down the straight in a roaring V8.
Check out the wing mirror scrapes on the outside wall as you come over the top and see where drivers drift at close to 200 towards the wall.
Next time you see that race on TV (or go see it on the mountain) you'll see a much fuller picture. _________________ Now indexing over 28500+ tours and all inclusive vacations & Uk tours

Have just returned from road trip.
We headed off from Sydney, over the blue mountains to the Coonabarabran for a few days in the Warren bungles National Park. The park was amazing with all number of native Animals and fantastic scenery .
Did a walk to the Grand high tops which overlooks a spectacular rock formation called the bread knife.
At night gazed at the sky and sore the most amazing star shining in the sky don’t think I have ever seen so many. could make out heaps of constellation I had never seen before.
Then headed to Dubbo and the zoo for the day. After this wanted more nature so head to the Coolah tops which should have been amazing if the park had not been closed. after the disappointment of a long drive to only find out as we got to the front gate that we need to turn around we headed to Armidale to find fantastic food and coffee.
Back in the car we drove along the waterfall way on our way to Mt Warning . Which after such rain is looking very green.
Once reached destination and found somewhere to stay we headed to Mt warning for a climb to the top. Amazing furna and rainforest vibe but did find a little overrun by all works of life ,but still a good hike but could have done without. I guess I was comparing to the Warren bungles which left us feel remote as did not see a sole on a 5 hour walk through the bush.
After twisting my ankle on the way down, want a few day out of car and time to relax so book in to a great B&B in the hills to recuperate . Then finely a week after headed off from Sydney we arrived in Bryon Bay. For a week with friend by the beach.
Great holiday managed to see heaps and enjoy NSW. _________________ Search 27000+ tours and book directly with operators.
