|
|
| Quote: | | Having conquered cyberspace, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have set their sights on a new frontier - the moon. The duo first considered building their own private space ship. But instead they have arranged for their Mountain View company to fund the Lunar X Prize, a competition that will award $20 million to the first team that lands a private unmanned spacecraft on the moon - and broadcasts high-definition video back to earth. |
Good stuff, not sure if anyone's seen Google Space yet, but if you have what do you think? What do you think google's next steps might be? _________________ www.iloho.com |

I think Google will buy out the moon from the cash stricken American government in a few years and erect a massive Google billboard. _________________ Devon Holidays | Airport Parking |

$20 million doesnt seem much of a prize for building a spaceship and landing on the moon. _________________ Currently on a mission to Learn basic Japanese with Rosetta Stone for my 3 month trip to Japan next year. |

Google is run by the mice, thus they can already rule the galaxy....the only problem is before you can rule it, you've gotta find the bits that fell down the back of the sofa*, what they're conveniently calling "dark matter" currently.
Serge and Brin are purely figureheads...

* Other theory being that the cleaner binned them down the nearest blackhole as "rubbish" which she thought was cluttering up the nice neat universe. _________________ Has anyone tried to find the ultimate answer to "nothing"?
