There is some excellent white water for kayaking in Wales. But for some people it is not extreme enough. This BBC News article has some video of the exploits of 4 kayakers who went down a 300 foot dam, much to the annoyance of Welsh Water.

Caught that on the news, that has to be a massive thrill! Don't understand why the water company were so upset by it, unless they have to disapprove to cover themselves for Health & Safety *shrug* _________________ car hire Italy - car hire France - car hire Spain |

Well... firstly, I suspect it's private property... secondly it's drinking water... but also... what if there was an accident? It's one of those situations where you wouldn't be surprised if Welsh Water were sued for not restricting access sufficiently. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering - UK B&Bs - UK Attractions
