Space travel ...the final frontier so to speak... i'm sure everyone would like to travel to space but when do you think it will be available for the average joe? i know Richard Branson is already on the case but i have an inkling that this is more of a way for him to become more popular with the super rich rather than for normal folks like myself.....
so when do you think space travel will be available for the likes of us normal people....if ever.....? _________________ LMHoliday.co.uk |

Actually the reason Branson did it was to win a competition held by NASA to be the first Civilian to reach space. .....and to win ten million dollars but that only just covered the cost to get there. Lyk i said in ur Intruduction, I defintely think it will be possible very soon. Like 2020 or so. Maybe I'm just being dumb but i really think it could happen. And if it does...i can't imagine it being very cheap!
But lets just cross our fingers!

nah it wont be cheap....i cant imagine that $10million would cover the costs of getting into space... even nowadays
if it ever does get done i dont think it will be for at least another 20 years.... with plenty of failed launches... maybe Bill Gates will take up the challenge _________________ LMHoliday.co.uk |

$10,000.
Give me a seat on a craft that has me floating in space for a few hours at that price, and I'm there. |
