We're going to Miami for one week in February for my daughter's softball tournament. However, we'll have time to see the sites. What are some good things to see and do in Miami?
I lived in Jacksonville, Fla in the last 70's and also have been to Orlando but never to Miami.
Thanks,
Joan in TX _________________ Try a Wellness Vacation Today |

I would honestly say and advise you to pop up to Fort Lauderdale for a day as it a great place on the sea-front and in my view even better than Miami. In Fort Lauderdale, the Swap Shop outdoor market on Sunset Boulevard is also worth visiting.
In Miami the sea-quarium is not bad and in the evenings walking along the sfront, there is normally some good live music. |

We attended the Affiliate Marketing conference in Miami in July. Stayed at the Intercontinenal hotel in I assume downtown Miami. Only a couple of shops were open on the Sunday.
We visited the Hard Rock Cafe and there wasn't much else to do in the area we stayed in. I'm in no hurry to make a return visit. Maybe we needed to go further afield but when we read the tourist brochures there didn't seem to be much on offer. _________________ Wanda from Travel Tripz
