Hi,

We are flying Kenya Airways from London into Kilimanjaro via Nairobi.
What are the vaccinations we would require.
Thanks

Have a look at http://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/destinations/tanzania.htm but it's best to check with your GP with details of the specific locations that you are going to as they should have access to up-to-date information.

Have a great trip...

Paul

Hi, I hope I'm not too late on this one:

When I was last in Tanzania (2005) actually taking the same flight you are, we needed yellow fever (you may be asked to produced the vaccination certificate) along with Typhoid, polio, tetanus and hepatitis inoculations. As Paul said, despite what one reads on the internet the best advice is to go to your GP and follow their advice.

As far as I am aware, the only vaccination that you NEED is Yellow Fever. I live in Tanzania (but come from sunny Kent in England) and have been vaccinated against Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Typhoid and Polio. I'd also strongly recommend vaccinating against TB (if you haven't already) as it's a very common disease here.

You doctor should be able to refer you to your local vaccinations clinic and recommend which vaccinations you should have.
