What do think that which one is better island for holiday vacation.

IMO, Phuket is better Islands for holiday vacation which is one of the world most prominent destinations for tourists as well. Lots of spectacular beaches and some are quite and simple for honeymoon couples.
There wonderful temperature, crystal blue water, soft white sand and perfect tropical climate to make Phuket. I’d definitely recommend travelers to take a tour towards this place.

Was already in Phuket (which was nice but extremely touristy) and will be in Hawaii in less a couple of weeks Very Happy

I've been to both Phuket and to Hawaii. I thought Phuket, though nice, was far too touristy, and in some places were quite trashy (Patong). Honolulu is merely a big city on a warm island with nice beaches.

I would choose the island of Kauai and the Big lsland before going back to Phuket.

Hawaii & Phuket both are famous beach traveling destinations around the World. I think everybody wants to enjoy and experience both destinations.

Hawaii is on my to do list but im sure it wont beat Phuket if you are a single male, i just love the place and am trying to figure out a way to live there.

This question is too difficult. Hawaii is known than Phuket, but also beautiful Phuket. I've been to Phuket and feel really comfortable. I choose both. Cool

I've never been to either of them, but if I had a choice it would definitely be Hawaii from what I have seen and heard.

IMO, Hawaii is one of the best islands around the world with lots of magnificent beaches like Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai and Oahu. I’d definitely recommend you visiting there I am sure you would come again.

Phuket is a nice place to go but not the place I would recommend visiting if going to Thailand. From Phuket I would recommend getting a boat over to Ko Phi Phi which takes about 2 hours. It is so much nicer there, the water is clearer, the food is delicious (you get a lot of fish!), its a great place to dive, there are good parties, lots to keep you entertained and its not sleazy!

The south of Phuket is very nice to visit (nice beaches like Kata beach). Patong on the other hand (further north) is very touristic, it's more like Chersonissos or lloret de mar.

I have been to Phuket twice and it is a nice place but cannot be compared to the other place =)

i had already visited Phuket a couple of times,and it was really marvelous and the places are so delicate,and if i get a one more chance definitely i would visit Phuket.even i have a small desire to visit Hawaii,i had never been to there.
