These are heady times for makers of travel pillows. Now that American Airlines, the nation's largest carrier, has jettisoned pillows from most domestic flights, conventional wisdom has it that other major carriers will follow suit.
More here
I suspect travellers might start looking for their own personal pillow if the airlines cease to offer them...

My wife already steals my blanket and takes some thin one from home.
But yeah next to pillows (i mean the big ones for you bed) and other sleeping stuff people will also start to carry blankets on their trip.
So maybe the airlines will put a extra line in their cabin luggage rules stating that you can take you own Bed _________________ GHPtravel,

I'm a maker of travel pillows and I think that's great news. _________________ ezysleep.com - The ultimate travel pillow. 360 degrees of support for quality sleep on the move. |

The last few short-haul flights we went on (can't remember which airline it was) offered blankets for sale (they didn't have any to offer for free use during the flight). I am sure the same will start to happen with pillows.
Travellers are better off buying their own and always taking it with them, they are handy for lots of situations, not just on the flight. _________________ Travel Accessories from tripneeds.com! |

| You can use your blanket or towel like a pillow. If you're traveling then you most likely have a good towel with you, so just roll it up and rest. |

well vikkymax, they are not neccessarily air pilows, yes the air pillows are available in several parts of the world, but these travel pillows are very light in weight, they generally have filling of supreme or some other micro loft, and they are called so because they are easy to carry and small in size _________________ Christmas Gift Baskets |

| A travel pillow is a U-shaped pillow that you can use for neck support when on a plane, traveling by bus, or a car. You can call it a travel neck pillow while the normal pillow i think that is something usually used at home. |

Pillow is the first thing I asked from the plane attendant. So that I can relax immediately from a busy surroundings outside the airport.
I never knew about blanket? Is it true they have it for sale? _________________ Diving Boracay
